Italian Cooking

Tonight we joined the Mount St. Mary’s students to learn how to do some Italian Cooking!  Our friend Amy joined us as well!  We made Crespelle di Ricotta e Melanzane with Salsa di Besciamella (Eggplant and Ricotta Crepes with Bechamel Sauce), Risotto Primavera (Vegetables and Rice), and Dolce al Cioccolato (Chocolate Cake).  It was a fabulous meal!  The pictures tell the story.

After dinner we went to Amy’s house to watch Fiorentina play Bayern Munich in their Champions League match.  This soccer game was what everyone was talking about in Florence today.  Fiorentina won 3-2, but they needed to win by two goals to advance to the next round.  So it was not a happy ending for the Fiorentina fans tonight!
